ESS allows the employees to access their payroll information anytime, anywhere – this includes their paystubs, deductions, withholdings, contact info, emergency info, benefits, etc. You don’t have to be the ‘go to’ in answering those constant payroll questions by employees. When employees are applying for a loan, changing exemptions, checking vacation time, or updating their address they can access all the information they need on their own. It’s at their fingertips, wherever they are. Employees also have access to change certain fields and any changes made will automatically update in our system, saving you time to focus on other more important activities.
Not only is it a benefit for the employee to have access to their pay information, but it’s also a great way to communicate with the employees regardless of location. Company documents (ie. employee manuals, insurance applications, company procedures, etc.) can be put on the ESS instead of having to manually update, re-print, and distribute this information to each employee. You can also store employee specific documents on the ESS portal.
